Extension- Who makes title sequences?

The designer I will be focusing on is graphic designer, illustrator and writer, Stefan G. Bucher. He has created designs for David Hockney, Sting, Saks Fifth Avenue, and The New York Times. He has also designed the main title typography for the three most recent films by director Tarsem Singh: The Fall, Immortals, and Mirror Mirror. Tarsem Singh states  'It is hard to define… I wanted chaos without energy.” (speaking on his vision for the title sequence for 'The Fall'.)

Stephen G Bucher was initially called in to design the book title design for 'The Fall' instead of the title sequence, but however Tarsem decided to use the logo for the film and the collateral materials aswell. He then  in the typography for the rest of the titles and end credits. In which he used Tarsems requests of making the titles beautiful, elegant, and as close to invisible as possible

Stephens influences and inspirations in design are  Margo Chase, Marian Bantjes, Pablo Ferro, Doyald Young and Mark Farrow, and states that 'There’s just such an abundance of great work coming out right now. So much of it is so beautiful and painterly. It’s a golden age for typography, particularly in motion graphics'
