Hi guys
Just a quick note re. your blog. As Rebecca has said in the feedback to Jessica, you must have more blogs about the editing process itself. Use some screenshots (see Instashot folder on your hard drive) or capture the whole process via Camtasia and narrate a short video. Explain what you are doing exactly, what filters or effects you have used and any other different Final Cut commands. Try and consider what skills you have developed and how the editing process has improved your understanding of film-making. Try and get this up as soon as possible.
You might also want to get some audience feedback – find a member of your target audience, show them your film – bulletpoint their reaction and your response – what last minute changes will you make as a result of their feedback?
Hope this helps – your blog is generally well kept and so far has a nice record of the production process, you just need more posts on editing.
Dan
After reading my feedback, i have understood that I should blog a few things related to our editing process. I have discussed this with the rest of my group and they also agree with the feedback.
I will also get a member of our target audience to give feedback on our title sequence to ensure that we get a better understanding of how our title sequence is presented and establish any criticisms that may be said when watching it.
