Analysis of the
order of titles for a High School and Youth Drama film
I analysed title sequences for both high school and youth
drama films. I recorded my analysis in a grid. As you can see, high school
dramas have more credits than youth dramas. This is most likely due to the
budget; high school dramas are more popular than youth dramas. This leads to
them being more funded than youth dramas. High school dramas get a lot of help,
financially. However, youth dramas tend to be independent.
High school drama films tend to have the title appear at
the beginning of the sequence, but youth drama sequences have the title appear
towards the end. Both always include the production and title of the film. The
biggest difference I've noticed between high school and youth drama films is
production. Production appears at the start of the sequence for youth dramas.
However, production tends to appear at the end of a sequence for high school
drama films.
